Moving on.

Well, after about 2.5 years it has finally happened. What my parents, friends and family in general have been hoping for. Tomorrow my World of Warcraft subscription expires. I will not be renewing it. I may one day down the road pick it up again and start plaing, but for now it is time for me to leave it aside. To focus my life on things that are real, are tengible. Did I enjoy my time spent there? absolutely. Did it, in the long run, take away from my life? Absolutely. I looked at my account this evening and did some rough math. there are 21900 hours in 30 months. My account logged each and every hour I was logged into the game, my total playtime for 2.5 years was 219 days, 11 hours and 47 minutes. I spent 24% of my life sitting in front of my computer...It was an addiction. plain and simple. and it cannot exist in my life any longer. So I said goodbye to my friends, my online family. I deleted 2.5 years of work. and Ièm not unsure even a bit about it. That chapter of my life is over. Time to look forward, to look ahead and The sunrise is beautiful.
